この特異な個体は、原生種「アイアイ」が感染による損傷を受けた結果として生じたものであり、その形態と食性には大きな変化が見られる。
1. 口部:
ティースティースの眼球は崩壊し、歯のような骨質突起を持つ大きな開口部へと変化している。正常な咽頭構造は存在せず、胃が直接海水に露出しているため、開口部から取り込んだものを口腔や食道を介さずそのまま消化することができる。また、新たに形成された筋肉組織によって咬みつきが可能となっており、その一撃は致命的となる場合がある。
2. 食性:
形態の変化により、ティースティースはほぼあらゆる有機物を消化することができる。その結果、狩猟本能の欠如にもかかわらず、原始的な捕食習性を発達させた。

This unique specimen, resulting from infectious damage to a member of the species designated ‘eyeye’, has experienced extensive alterations to its form and diet.
1. Mouth:
The teethteeth’s eyeball has deteriorated and been reduced to a gaping hole with tooth-like bony protrusions. While it has no proper throat, its stomach has been exposed to the water, allowing the creature to digest anything that enters its mouth, bypassing its mouth and esophagus. New muscular formations mean this creature can bite, with bites being potentially lethal.
2. Diet:
The teethteeth is able to digest almost anything organic due to its morphological changes. Therefore, its behavior has developed to include primitive predatory habits, though lacks proper hunting instincts.

概要 / Overview
大型MOD「The Red Plague」に登場する、レッド・プレイグに感染して変異したアイアイ。
特徴的な大きな単眼（eye）は失われ、代わりに鋭い歯（teeth）を備えた口を獲得している。
An Eyeye mutated by infection with the Red Plague, featured in the large-scale mod The Red Plague.
Its characteristic large single eye has been lost and replaced by a mouth lined with sharp teeth.

行動 / Behavior
かつて眼があった部位には大きく裂けた口が開いており、接近した生物に噛み付いて攻撃する。
動き自体は緩慢だが、外見が通常種と酷似しているため、誤って捕獲しようとした際に咬まれる危険がある。不用意な接近は避けること。
A large, gaping mouth now occupies the area where its eye once was, and it attacks nearby creatures by biting them.
Although it moves slowly, its appearance closely resembles that of a normal Eyeye, creating a risk of being bitten if the player mistakes it for one and attempts to catch it. Avoid approaching carelessly.

- 本種の名称は、その特徴的な歯を備えた外見に由来する。巨大な単眼を特徴とする通常のアイアイ（Eyeye）が、眼を意味する “eye” を重ねた名称であるのに対し、眼球が歯の並ぶ開口部へと変異した本種は、歯を意味する “teeth” を重ねた「ティースティース（Teethteeth）」と名付けられている。
- レッド・プレイグの影響によってアイアイから変異した生物には、本種のほかに「アイアイ・キャプテン」が存在する。現時点で、異なる2種類の変異個体が確認されている原生生物はアイアイのみである。
- The creature's name is derived from its distinctive tooth-filled appearance. Whereas the standard Eyeye, characterized by its enormous single eye, is named by repeating the word “eye,” this mutated form—whose eyeball has been replaced by an opening lined with teeth—is named “Teethteeth,” repeating the word “teeth.”
- In addition to the Teethteeth, the “Eyeye Captain” is another creature mutated from the Eyeye as a result of exposure to the Red Plague. At present, the Eyeye is the only native species known to have two distinct mutated forms.
