概要 / Overview
カラー細菌を遥かに超える危険度を持つ新種病原体「レッド・プレイグ」を実装する大型MOD「The Red Plague」で登場する、ストーカーの変異体。
ストーカーがレッド・プレイグに感染すると、一定の確率でこの異形へと変異する。かつての流線型の体型は失われ、骨や腫瘍を思わせる皮膚に覆われた醜悪な姿へと変貌した。
A mutated form of the Stalker that appears in The Red Plague, a large MOD that adds the Red Plague, a new pathogen far more dangerous than the Kharaa bacterium.
When a Stalker becomes infected by the Red Plague, it has a chance to mutate into this aberrant form. Its former streamlined body is lost, transforming it into a grotesque creature covered in skin reminiscent of bone and tumors.

行動 / Behavior
プレイヤーや同種を含む周囲のあらゆる生物に対して攻撃的に振る舞い、極めて凶暴な性質を示す。通常種がケルプの森を主な縄張りとし、安全な浅瀬にはまれに出現する程度であったのに対し、本種は積極的に浅瀬へと進出してくる。そのため、装備が整っていない序盤は特に注意が必要である。
通常種に見られた「金属くずで牙を研ぐ」行動は失われており、それに伴って金属くずから牙を落とすこともなくなっている。一方で、本種は攻撃を受けてダメージを負った際に牙を落とすことがある。エナメルガラスを大量に必要とする場合は、牙の入手手段として利用できる。
It behaves aggressively toward nearly every creature around it, including the player and members of its own species, displaying an extremely violent nature. While normal Stalkers primarily claim the Kelp Forest as their territory and only rarely appear in the Safe Shallows, this variant actively moves into the shallows. As a result, it is especially dangerous in the early game before the player has adequate equipment.
The tooth-sharpening behavior seen in normal Stalkers has been lost, and as a result, it no longer drops teeth from Metal Salvage. Instead, this variant may drop teeth when it takes damage from attacks. If large amounts of Enameled Glass are needed, this can be used as a way to obtain Stalker Teeth.
脅威と対処 / Threats & Countermeasures
通常のストーカーと比較すると動きはやや緩慢だが、追跡性と攻撃力は大幅に強化されている。プレイヤーだけでなく乗り物に対しても積極的に攻撃を仕掛け、深刻な損傷を与えることがある。
用がない場合は速やかに距離を取ること。牙を入手するためにあえてダメージを与える場合は、ステイシスライフルなどで行動を封じ、安全を確保したうえで行うのが望ましい。
Compared to a normal Stalker, its movements are somewhat slower, but its tracking ability and attack power are significantly enhanced. It will also aggressively attack vehicles and may cause serious damage.
If there is no reason to engage it, move away quickly. When deliberately damaging it to obtain teeth, it is best to immobilize it with a Stasis Rifle or similar tool and ensure your safety first.

- 2026年6月10日のアップデートにて、表皮のテクスチャが更新された。従来は岩肌のような暗く粗い質感だったが、更新後はより精細な質感となり、骨を思わせる白っぽい印象が強くなっている。
- In the June 10, 2026 update, its skin texture was updated. Previously, it had a dark, rough texture resembling rock, but after the update the texture became more detailed and took on a whitish, bone-like appearance.
