進行・目的 / Progression & Objectives

イオンリアクター試験施設、ワープ技術開発施設、防衛技術研究施設の3施設を攻略すると、建造端末から「プロトタイプ管理施設」のシグネチャを南西方向に検知したというアナウンスが発信される。同時に、「管理施設タブレット」の設計図がダウンロードされる。

After clearing the Ion Reactor Testing Facility, Warp Technologies Development Facility, and Defensive Technologies Research Facility, the Construction Terminal broadcasts an announcement indicating that the signature of the Prototype Administrative Facility has been detected to the southwest. At the same time, the schematic for the Prototype Administrative Tablet is downloaded.

クレーター南西部の複数のバイオームの地表には、巨大なワーム型構造物の残骸が点在している。これらの残骸を3つスキャンすると、管理施設のおおよその位置を示す座標が取得される。ただし、スキャン対象はどの残骸でもよいわけではなく、異なるバイオームからそれぞれ1か所ずつスキャンする必要がある模様である。スキャン可能な残骸はグラッシー台地、閑散としたサンゴ礁、そしてシートレーダー回廊で確認されている。

Across several biomes in the southwestern part of the crater, the remains of enormous wyrm-like structures can be found scattered across the terrain. Scanning three of these remains provides coordinates indicating the approximate location of the Administrative Facility. However, not just any three remains appear to count; it seems that one scannable remain must be scanned from each of several different biomes. Confirmed scannable remains can be found in the Grassy Plateaus, Sparse Reef, and Sea Treader’s Path.

座標周辺の海底にも複数のワーム型構造物の残骸が確認でき、付近の海底に開いた洞窟が管理施設へと通じる道となっている。

Several additional wyrm-like remains can also be found on the seafloor near the coordinates. A cave opening in the nearby seabed serves as the route leading to the Administrative Facility.

洞窟を抜けると、大部分が空気で満たされた広大な地下空間に到達する。北側にはフォースフィールド制御端末によって封鎖された通路があり、これが管理施設の入口となる。入口のフォースフィールドを解除するためには、「管理施設タブレット」が必要である。

Passing through the cave leads to a vast underground space, most of which is filled with air. On the northern side is a passage sealed by a Forcefield Control; this passage is the entrance to the Administrative Facility. The Prototype Administrative Tablet is required to disable the forcefield at the entrance.

施設内部の長い廊下を進むことで、中央に異星人のアーチが設置された広間へ到達する。このアーチを起動すると施設内の照明が点灯し、転移先として安全な浅瀬バイオームに存在するキャッシュへ移動可能となる。このキャッシュには、プレイヤーのイオンダイビングスーツの機能を拡張する「カラー・ファクター」の設計図、およびイオンプリズムやアルマナイトフレームといった貴重なアイテムが配置されているため、未訪問の場合は回収しておくことが推奨される。

Proceeding through the long corridor inside the facility leads to a hall containing an alien arch at its center. Activating this arch turns on the facility’s lights and allows travel to a cache located in the Safe Shallows biome. This cache contains the schematic for the Color Factor, which expands the functions of the player’s Ion Dive Suit, as well as valuable items such as Ion Prisms and Almanite Frameworks. If it has not yet been visited, collecting these items is recommended.

2階にはプロトタイプのアップグレード「メンテナンスボット」および「深度最適化装置」の設計図を入手可能なデータターミナルが設置されているため、忘れずにダウンロードすること。
そして、フロア中央に設置されたフォースフィールド制御端末に「管理施設タブレット」を挿入することで、3階への進入が可能となる。最奥のデータターミナルを起動すると、「デッドゾーン・マッピング・イニシアチブ」の詳細が記録されたログを取得できる。

The second floor contains data terminals from which the Maintenance Bots and Depth Optimizers upgrades can be downloaded, so be sure to collect them. Inserting the Prototype Administrative Tablet into the Forcefield Control at the center of the floor grants access to the third floor. Activating the data terminal at the far end provides a log containing details on the Dead Zone Mapping Initiative.

この操作と同時に、施設入口のある地下空間にて停止していたワーム型構造物が轟音とともに再起動する。その影響により、施設の入口が完全に水没するため、地表へ帰還する際には酸素残量に注意が必要である。

At the same time, the wyrm-like structure that had been dormant in the underground space near the facility entrance reactivates with a tremendous roar. As a result, the facility entrance becomes completely flooded, so oxygen reserves should be watched carefully when returning to the surface.

次なる進路 / Next Paths

管理施設の攻略後、プレイヤーには大きく分けて2つの進路が提示される。1つは、クレーターのはるか北方に位置する「デッドゾーン・マッピングサイト」へ向かう展開である。もう1つは、異星人の較正手順を実施するため、砂丘方面に提示された異星人座標へ向かう展開である。

After clearing the Administrative Facility, the player is presented with two major paths forward. One leads to the Dead Zone Mapping Site, located far to the north of the crater. The other leads toward an alien coordinate marker in the direction of the Dunes, where the alien calibration procedure is to be carried out.

後者のルートは非常に過酷な試練となるため、事前に入念な準備が必要となる。プロトタイプの各種アップグレードを解放し、艦体の機能を十分に発揮できる状態にしてから向かうこと。
また、較正手順では「数理認識試験施設」と「空間航法認知試験施設」の双方で得られる知識が要求されるため、これら2施設を攻略しておくことが推奨される。

The latter route is an extremely demanding trial, so thorough preparation is required before attempting it. Unlocking the Prototype’s various upgrades and ensuring that the vessel can make full use of its functions is strongly recommended.
In addition, the calibration procedure requires knowledge obtained from both the Number Puzzle Facility and the Bearing Puzzle Facility, so clearing both facilities beforehand is recommended.
