概要 / Overview

「The Prototype Expansion: Phase Gate Update」で新たに追加された、比較的小規模なエイリアン施設。

エイリアン製タブレットを使用して封鎖を解除しながら探索する従来型の施設とは異なり、 内部に設置されたインタラクティブなパズルを解くことで隠された機能を解放する、新しいタイプの施設となっている。
プロトタイプ潜水艦の建造後、ラジオで受信する謎のエイリアン言語によるメッセージとともに、施設の位置を示すビーコンが取得される。

A relatively small alien facility newly added in The Prototype Expansion: Phase Gate Update.

Unlike conventional facilities that are explored by unlocking sealed areas with alien tablets, this facility introduces a new format in which hidden functions are unlocked by solving an interactive puzzle inside.
After the Prototype submarine has been constructed, the player receives a beacon marking the facility’s location along with a mysterious alien-language radio message.

基本構造 / Basic Layout

本施設は、以下の4つの区画で構成されている。
入口を兼ねたエントランス、プロトタイプのシンボルとそれを取り囲むエイリアン文字が描かれた第2区画、 パズルが設置された第3区画、そしてパズルを解くことで侵入可能となるセキュリティルームである。

各区画は物理的に接続されておらず、移動は短距離テレポーテーション機能を備えたアーチを介して行われる。

This facility consists of four sections:
the entrance area, a second chamber marked with the Prototype symbol and surrounding alien characters, a third chamber containing the puzzle, and a security room that becomes accessible after the puzzle is solved.

The sections are not physically connected. Movement between them is performed through arches equipped with short-range teleportation functions.

攻略のヒント / Hints

本施設の第2区画は、空間航法試験の導入にあたるチュートリアルとなっている。
奥の壁面に描かれたシンボルは特定の方角を示しており、その方角に対応するアーチを通過することで第3区画へ進むことが可能である。

シンボルと方角の対応関係は、中央床面にリング状に配置されたシンボル群が手掛かりとなる。 壁面のシンボルを、この円環配置のどの位置に相当するかを確認することで、進むべき方向を導き出せる。

続く第3区画では、奥の壁面に左右それぞれ3つずつのシンボルが描かれ、その中央に操作用コンソールが設置されている。右側のシンボルは操作により表示内容を切り替えることができ、 左側のシンボルと対応する状態に設定したうえで中央コンソールを起動することで、セキュリティルームへのアクセスが解放される。
この部屋の床面にも複数のシンボルが描かれており、壁面との対応関係を読み解くための重要なヒントとなっている。 壁面左右のシンボルと床面内外の配置関係に注目することで、パズルの構造が理解できるだろう。

セキュリティルーム内の巨大な装置にアクセスすると、プロトタイプ潜水艦から展開可能な装置「フェーズゲート・コンストラクター」の設計図が解放される。

The second chamber of this facility functions as an introduction to the spatial navigation trial.
The symbol drawn on the far wall indicates a specific direction, and the player can proceed to the third chamber by passing through the arch corresponding to that direction.

The relationship between the symbols and directions can be inferred from the symbols arranged in a ring on the center of the floor. By checking where the wall symbol corresponds within this circular arrangement, the correct direction can be determined.

In the following third chamber, three symbols are drawn on each side of the far wall, with an operating console placed in the center. The symbols on the right side can be changed through interaction. By setting them to correspond with the symbols on the left side and then activating the central console, access to the security room is unlocked.
Multiple symbols are also drawn on the floor of this room, providing important clues for understanding their relationship to the wall symbols. By paying attention to the relationship between the left and right wall symbols and the inner and outer positions on the floor, the structure of the puzzle can be understood.

Accessing the large device inside the security room unlocks the blueprint for the Phase Gate Constructor, a deployable device for the Prototype submarine.
