1. 猫のような鳴き声:
プレイグ・キャットは、興味を引かれるものを観察している際に甲高い鳴き声を発する。これは、他のプレイグ・キャットを呼び寄せ、群れを強化するためのものと考えられる。興味深いことに、この鳴き声は大半のほかのプレイグ生物には聞こえないか、あるいは無視されているらしく、周囲の生物の攻撃性には影響を与えない。
2. 威嚇用の歯:

A spiny glob of flesh with a large primary eye surrounded by teeth and multiple eyes on its sides. It exhibits unique traits compared to other plagued organisms, particularly showing a completely passive temperament and fleeing when approached.
1. "Meowing" Behavior:
Plague Cats will produce a high-pitched whine when observing something of interest, possibly to attract more Plague Cats to strengthen the group. Interestingly, this whine is either inaudible to or ignored by most other plague creations, as it does not influence nearby aggression.
2. Intimidating Teeth:
Likely intended as a sort of visual deterrent, the Plague Cat's teeth are actually harmless and serve only to intimidate possible predators and protect the main eyeball.
3. Stalking Behavior:
Plague Cats attempt to stay just out of reach of their current interest, generally swimming away when it gets too close. The vast majority of their nervous system is composed of ocular tissues, meaning they have trouble actually comprehending what they see. This occasionally causes them to ram eye-first into their target of interest, then bouncing off and swimming away.
Assessment: Physically harmless with an unclear connection to the hivemind - more research is required

概要 / Overview
カラー細菌を遥かに超える危険度を持つ新種病原体「レッド・プレイグ」を実装する大型MOD「The Red Plague」で登場する、大型のプレイグ生命体。
巨大な眼球と鋭い牙を備えた、不気味な肉塊状の存在。敵対的な行動は一切確認されておらず、その目的はプレイヤーの観察であると考えられている。

MODストーリーのAct 2開始後、プレイヤーの周囲に突如出現するようになる。常にプレイヤーを観察するような挙動を示し、離れた場所からじっと見つめる姿が確認できる。
背面のひれ状器官を動かして泳ぎながら、一定の距離を保ち、複数の個体で群れを形成してプレイヤーを追跡する。このようにプレイヤーの周囲へ出現して付きまとう性質を持つため、決まった生息域は存在しない。
時折、至近距離まで接近してくることがあるものの、接触してもダメージを受けることはない。
また、「プレイグ・キャット（Plague Cat）」の別名が示すように、しばしば鳴き声を発して同種の個体と意思疎通を図っているような行動が観察される。その鳴き声は猫のようなものではなく、むしろレイ種が発する人の泣き声のような不気味な音である。
After Act 2 of the mod’s story begins, Observers suddenly begin appearing around the player. They consistently behave as though they are watching the player and can often be seen staring from a distance.
They swim by moving the fin-like organs on their backs, maintaining a fixed distance while forming groups of multiple individuals that follow the player. Because they appear around the player and continue following them in this manner, they have no fixed habitat.
They occasionally approach at extremely close range, but physical contact causes no damage.
As suggested by their alternate name, “Plague Cat,” they frequently make calls in what appears to be an attempt to communicate with others of their kind. These calls do not resemble a cat’s meow; instead, they are eerie sounds more akin to the humanlike cries produced by ray species.
