1. 触手:

SPECIMEN SIZE CATEGORIES HAVE BEEN GREATLY ADJUSTED UPWARDS TO ACCOMMODATE THIS SPECIES
A leviathan of gargantuan proportions with a long serpentine body and reptilian features, this specimen is significantly larger than any other living creature found in the region.
Tentacles:
The specimen’s tentacles appear to be covered in thick scales and used to both help the leviathan swim and catch prey. Analysis of the protuberances at the tips of the tentacles indicates these are also used by the organism to sense its environment.
Mineralized Scales:
Scans of the leviathan’s scales indicate they are composed of, among other things, vast quantities of inorganic alloys of unprecedented tensile strength. These minerals appear to have been supplied by the leviathan’s bloodstream during the scales' development, suggesting it absorbs these minerals from its environment. Further observation recommended.
Behavior:
Despite its immense size, the leviathan appears to traverse its environment with surprising ease, using its long, serpentine body to stalk the depths with minimal energy expenditure. Scans indicate the specimen uses its various senses, among those sonar, to locate potential prey within its vicinity and swallow it whole.
The scanned specimen dwarfs all other nearby leviathans in size, despite analysis indicating it is only a juvenile.

「Return of the Ancients」MODに登場する、ガルガンチュア・リヴァイアサンの幼体。
幼体の時点で全長600mを超える巨躯を誇り、他のリヴァイアサン級生物を凌駕する体躯と攻撃性を備えている。リヴァイアサンを頂点とした既存の生態系を崩壊させかねない、極めて危険な存在。
A juvenile Gargantuan Leviathan featured in the “Return of the Ancients” mod.
Already exceeding 600 m in length at the juvenile stage, it possesses a body of immense proportions and an aggressive nature that surpass those of other leviathan-class creatures. It is an extremely dangerous organism capable of disrupting existing ecosystems dominated by leviathans.

行動 / Behavior
山岳地帯、クラッシュゾーン、北部ブラッドケルプ地帯に1体ずつ、砂丘に2体の計5体が確認されている。
地響きのような轟音を伴う咆哮を響かせ、長大な体をうねらせながら生息域を徘徊している。その攻撃性は極めて高く、周囲の中型～大型生物を見境なく攻撃するほか、他のリヴァイアサン級生物に対しても巨大な顎で噛みつき、大損傷を与える。
一方、小型の生物（プレイヤーを除く）にはほとんど関心を示さず、不運にも進路上に現れた個体を通り過ぎざまに捕食するのみである。
リヴァイアサン級生物の中では、リーパー・リヴァイアサンに対してのみ、体全体をねじるように回転させる「デスロール」による攻撃を行う。その威力は凄まじく、攻撃を受けた個体はほとんどの場合即死し、運良く生き延びた場合でも、即座にその場から逃走する様子が確認されている。
また、プレイヤーの乗り物に対しても極めて高い攻撃力を発揮する。特筆すべき点として、シーモスやプローンスーツを拘束した際には、損傷を与えると同時に電力を吸収する能力を持つ。サイクロプスに対しては拘束攻撃を行わないものの、噛みつきと同時に船体を押し出し、甚大な損傷を与える。
A total of five individuals have been confirmed: one each in the Mountains, Crash Zone, and Northern Blood Kelp Zone, and two in the Dunes.
It patrols its territory, undulating its elongated body and emitting roars that sound like a thunderous rumble. Extremely aggressive, it attacks nearby medium- to large-sized creatures indiscriminately, and can inflict severe damage on other leviathan-class creatures with its enormous jaws.
By contrast, it shows little interest in small creatures (excluding the player), merely swallowing those unfortunate enough to cross its path as it passes by.
Among leviathan-class creatures, it performs a “death roll”—an attack in which it twists and rotates its entire body—only against the Reaper Leviathan. The attack is devastating, killing its victim instantly in most cases. Even individuals fortunate enough to survive have been observed immediately fleeing the area.
It also deals exceptionally high damage to the player’s vehicles. Notably, when it grabs a Seamoth or Prawn Suit, it drains the vehicle’s power while damaging it. Although it does not perform a grabbing attack against the Cyclops, its bite pushes the submarine aside while inflicting extensive damage.

4546Bに生息する既知の生物に対して有効なステイシスライフルの停止効果は、本種には一切通用しない。ただし、リパルションキャノンによる反発効果は有効であり、頭部に命中させることで数秒間攻撃動作を中断させることができる。緊急時の防衛手段として有用だが、効果が切れると即座に攻撃動作を再開するため、過信は禁物である。
シーモスに対する攻撃では、耐久値の90%に相当する損傷を与えるとともに、電力の約46%を奪い取る。プローンスーツに対しては耐久値の30%に相当する損傷を与え、電力の約24%を奪い取る。電力吸収能力は、たとえ拘束から生還できたとしても、その後の離脱行動に支障をきたすおそれがある点で脅威となる。イオンパワーセルは吸収される電力量を相対的に低く抑えられるため、可能であれば装備しておきたい。
本種の拘束攻撃に対する唯一の対抗手段は、本MODで追加されるアップグレード「イオンエネルギー周囲防御システム」である。通常の周囲防御システムは効果を示さないものの、異星人技術を用いた強化版であるこの装備は、本種の拘束を一時的に中断させることができる。
本種に対しては、既知のいかなる手段でも損傷を与えることは不可能であり、戦闘による制圧を試みることは無意味である。本種の付近を安全に通過する手段は存在しない。
Its enormous body, measuring over 600 m in length, is itself its greatest threat. If you spot one, do not let its elongated body distract you; always keep track of the position of its head.
The immobilizing effect of the Stasis Rifle, effective against other known creatures on 4546B, has no effect whatsoever on this species. However, the Repulsion Cannon can repel it, and a shot to the head can interrupt its attack animation for several seconds. This can be useful as an emergency defensive measure, but should not be relied upon, as it resumes attacking as soon as the effect wears off.
An attack against a Seamoth inflicts damage equivalent to 90% of its maximum health and drains approximately 46% of its power. Against a Prawn Suit, it inflicts damage equivalent to 30% of its maximum health and drains approximately 24% of its power. This power-draining ability poses an additional threat, as it can hinder escape even if the player survives being grabbed. Ion Power Cells can reduce the proportion of power lost, so equipping them is recommended whenever possible.
The only countermeasure against this creature’s grabbing attack is the Seamoth Ion Perimeter Defense Module, an upgrade added by this mod. Although the standard Perimeter Defense System has no effect, this enhanced version incorporating alien technology can temporarily interrupt the creature’s grip.
No known means can inflict damage on this creature, making any attempt to subdue it in combat futile. There is no safe way to pass close to it.

- 北西キノコの森と砂丘の境界付近は、本種が徘徊する光景を比較的安全に観察できるエリアであり、観察拠点の立地として適している。万一本種に発見され、追跡された場合でも、無数に立ち並ぶキノコ状の構造物に身を隠すことで追跡を回避できる。ただし、大型潜水艦は本種の攻撃対象となるため、屋外に停泊させないこと。
- The opening sentence of the PDA Databank entry follows the wording of the Sea Emperor Leviathan’s entry in the base game. An additional word meaning “greatly” has been inserted into the original text, emphasizing that this species is vastly larger than the Sea Emperor.

Unlike many other leviathans, whose scannable hitboxes are limited to the head and front portion of the torso, this species can be scanned along the entire length of its body.
- Scanning a part of its body away from the head can reduce the risk of being attacked. However, physical collision is only enabled for its head.

The PDA Databank states that this creature uses its tentacles to catch prey, but no such behavior can be observed in-game.
- This may be a reference to an ability considered during development that would have allowed it to move its head tentacles to attack prey.

This species can deal as much as 1,500 damage to other creatures with a single hit. Slow-moving species and individuals that fail to escape in time can be killed within moments, even if they are leviathan-class creatures.
- Its death roll against the Reaper Leviathan appears to inflict damage multiple times during a single attack, and it has been observed killing Reapers more quickly than other leviathans.

Because of its extraordinarily elongated body, the entire creature can disappear from view when the player moves a certain distance away from its head, even if part of its body is still visible on screen.
- As a result, its full length cannot be determined using the usual beacon-based measurement method. Instead, a tool that automatically measures the dimensions of the model was used.

Despite its extreme aggression and the tremendous threat it poses, the sight of this creature swimming majestically, undulating its elongated body and illuminating countless bioluminescent markings like stars in the night sky, is undoubtedly a spectacle worth seeing.
- The boundary between the Northwestern Mushroom Forest and the Dunes offers a relatively safe vantage point from which to observe it and is therefore a suitable location for an observation base. Even if the creature spots and pursues you, you can evade it by hiding among the countless mushroom-like structures. However, large submarines are among its targets and should not be parked outside.
