浅瀬でしばしば確認される巨大な魚類。
1. 体:
引き伸ばされた球体のような極めて特異な体型を持つ。体の左右に備わった大きな腹ビレは、強大な推進力を生み出すと同時に、姿勢の安定を保つ役割を担っている。
顔には2対の眼が存在するものの、あまり発達しておらず、視覚に依存しない独特な狩猟形態を持つことを示唆している。
2. 口:
惑星4546Bでこれまでに発見された、あらゆる生物を上回るほど巨大である。大半の時間は大きく開かれており、接近した不運な魚類が捕食される様子がしばしば確認される。顔面の約7m奥には第二の顎が存在し、通常より大型の獲物を捕食する際に機能していると考えられる。
3. 吸引攻撃:
このリヴァイアサンは濾過摂食に加え、非常に特異な狩猟技術を有している。咽頭より大量の水を専用の真空密閉腔へと送り込む能力を備えており、この大規模な水の移動によって圧力差を生じさせ、周囲の物体を口部へと吸引する。
評価: 口の前方を避けること。吸引攻撃に注意
A massive fish often found in shallow waters.
1. Body:
The Bloop has a very extensive body plan, representing an elongated sphere. Two large ventral fins on either side of the body act to apply large amounts of force and maintain balance.
Two pairs of eyes are present on the face, although they appear underdeveloped, suggesting a unique form of hunting.
2. Mouth:
The mouth of the bloop is larger than that of any creature discovered on Planet 4546B. It is observed to be wide open most of the time, with unfortunate fish often being consumed. A second jaw, located approx. 7 meters deep in the face, may help in consumption of larger than usual prey.
3. Vortex attack:
Beyond filter feeding, this leviathan portrays a very interesting hunting technique. It has the ability to pump large masses of water from its throat into a dedicated vacuum-sealed chamber. This massive displacement of water creates a pressure difference, pulling any nearby objects into its mouth.
Assesment: Avoid being in the path of the mouth. Be wary of the Vortex attack.

概要 / Overview
「Bloop and Blaza Leviathans」MODにて登場する、危険なリヴァイアサン級生物。
主にグラッシー台地などの浅瀬に生息している。その巨大な口と二重の顎を利用した、危険な捕食方法を持つ。
A dangerous leviathan-class organism featured in the Bloop and Blaza Leviathans mod.
It primarily inhabits shallow waters such as the Grassy Plateaus. It employs a dangerous feeding method that makes use of its enormous mouth and secondary jaw.

行動 / Behavior
生息域を徘徊しながら、周囲の小型魚類を手当たり次第に吸い込むように捕食する様子が観察される。
奇妙な鳴き声と、体側面に並ぶ生物発光によって夜間でも発見は容易である。
It patrols its habitat while indiscriminately sucking in and consuming nearby small fish.
Its strange calls and the rows of bioluminescent markings along the sides of its body make it easy to spot even at night.
脅威と対処 / Threats & Countermeasures
一見すると鈍重そうな印象を受けるが、実際は大きなヒレを使って活発に泳ぎ回る危険な捕食者である。背後に回り込んでも、プレイヤーの存在に気付くと即座に反転し向き直るという厄介な習性を持つ。
最大の脅威は吸引攻撃であり、これに捕捉されると生身・乗り物搭乗中を問わず問答無用で即死するため要注意。特に機動力で劣るプローンスーツでは、本種の接近を許さぬよう常に警戒が必要。
その生息域がゲーム序盤の探索エリアと重なるため、本種は序盤最大の障害となる。グラッシー台地は装備が整っていない状態で訪れることが多く、シーモスやシーグライドを持たないまま吸引攻撃を受ければまず助からないだろう。浮袋は序盤で貴重な緊急回避手段となるため、常に携行しておきたい。また、海底に点在する大小様々な残骸に身を隠すことも有効である。物陰をうまく利用すれば、至近距離で吸引攻撃を受けてもやり過ごすことができる。
なお、サイクロプスに搭乗中は一切攻撃を受けない。
Although it may appear slow and cumbersome at first glance, it is actually a dangerous predator that swims actively using its large fins. Even if the player manages to get behind it, the creature has the troublesome habit of immediately turning around to face them as soon as it becomes aware of their presence.
Its greatest threat is the Vortex attack. If caught by it, the player is killed instantly regardless of whether they are swimming freely or piloting a vehicle. Extra caution is required when using the less maneuverable Prawn Suit, and the creature should never be allowed to close the distance.
Because its habitat overlaps with areas commonly explored early in the game, this species can become one of the greatest obstacles during the early stages of a playthrough. The Grassy Plateaus are often visited before the player is properly equipped, and being caught by the Vortex attack without a Seamoth or Seaglide will leave little chance of survival. The Air Bladder can serve as a valuable emergency escape tool early on, making it worth carrying at all times. Hiding behind the various pieces of wreckage scattered across the seafloor is also effective. By making good use of cover, it is possible to survive even a Vortex attack initiated at very close range.
The creature does not attack the player at all while they are inside a Cyclops.

ブループ（“The Bloop”）とは、1997年に海中で観測された正体不明の巨大な音響現象を指す。
- 人工物によるものとしては不規則かつ強大すぎるその音は、「未知の巨大海洋生物による鳴き声」だとする説が広まり、現在でも多くの創作作品のモチーフとなっている。いわば、“巨大海洋生物マニア”にとっては定番の存在である。
- 観測を行ったアメリカ海洋大気庁（NOAA）は、後にこの音を「氷震」――氷河の崩落や大規模な氷塊の破砕――によるものと結論づけている。
- 一般的には「巨大なクジラのような姿で大口を開けた生物」としてイラスト化されることが多いが、本種（MOD版）のデザインはそれらとは異なる別のコンセプトアートを基にしていると考えられる。ただし、それがブループを描いたものかは不明（参考：Redditに投稿されたイラスト）。

“The Bloop” refers to a massive, unidentified underwater acoustic phenomenon recorded in 1997.
- Because the sound seemed too irregular and powerful to have originated from a man-made source, the idea that it was the call of an unknown gigantic marine creature became widespread. It continues to serve as a motif in many works of fiction and has become something of a staple among enthusiasts of enormous sea creatures.
- The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which recorded the sound, later concluded that it was caused by an “icequake” associated with events such as glacial collapse or the fracturing of large masses of ice.
- The Bloop is commonly illustrated as a gigantic whale-like creature with a gaping mouth, but the design of this modded creature appears to be based on a different piece of concept art. Whether that artwork was actually intended to depict the Bloop is unknown (reference: illustration posted on Reddit).
